Sharks’ Takaki fifth at St. Martin’s event
Hawaii Pacific’s Kaia Takaki is fifth after shooting an 8-over-par 81 in Friday’s first round of the St. Martin’s Invitational women’s golf tournament in Lacey, Wash.
Hawaii Hilo’s Andy Takaki is tied for eighth after carding an 83 at Olympia Country Club.
The Sharks are fourth at 55-over 347 and the Vulcans are fifth at 356.
Simon Fraser and Montana State-Billings are tied for first in the eight-team tournament at 329.
