Kaiser senior Koa Tom threw for 336 yards and four touchdowns and the host Cougars beat the Pac-Five Wolfpack 31-27 on Friday.
Tom gave Kaiser (4-3-1, 3-3 OIA D-II) the lead for good with a 6-yard touchdown pass to Jesse Stroede with 3:05 left in the third quarter.
Neither team scored in the final 15 minutes after combining for 35 points in the first nine minutes of the second half.
Kaiser’s Dre Falls had five receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns and also intercepted two passes on defense.

Earlier Friday, St. Francis junior Faaope Laloulu, a 6-foot-7, 350-pound offensive lineman, received a scholarship offer from Southern California. Laloulu also has offers from Brigham Young, Arizona, Oregon and San Diego State.
“It came out of the blue,” said Laloulu, who got a visit at school from USC linebackers coach Johnny Nansen, who made the offer. “It was a really big surprise for me. It means the world — just like every other offer. I’m just taking it all in.”
Last week, the Saints clinched their first state tournament berth since starting a varsity football program in 2013.
“I feel like that was mission accomplished for our past brothers who paved the way for us,” Laloulu said. “I owe it to them for starting up this program.”
