3. As one kid, my friend Nicole Satsuma used to suck off all da chocolate from her chocolate-covered macadamia nuts and her grandpa used to eat da nut that she spit out, cuz “No good waste,” he said.

For fun, cuz I really like Macadamia Roca (and not cuz I mean), I made her try this chocolate-covered candy knowing she hates mac nuts and she no care for da buttercrunch toffee goodness that is regular Almond Roca.

Da funny ting is she ended up fully loving this! Weird yeah. Or maybe not, cuz Macadamia Roca’s been out for a few years now, but da ting just keeps gaining fans as more people discover it, or are forced to discover it. Lol.

4. Lotta people love bacon. Myself included, das why I wuz curious for try Marty’s Baconette Strips.

Da packaging hypes its “No-meat goodness.” Kinda tastes like one really crisp bacon without all da greasiness. Soooo addicting.

5. This is kinda like one Asian version of da jerky and nut protein snack pack trend das popular now. My friend Julia Ishado went Hokkaido and fell in love with this fish almond snack.

When she returned from Japan, she even translated da ingredients so she could try re-creating it. While she wuz doing that, I figured ah, maybe can find ‘em in da store. And I did!
