Hawaii island police arrested a 41-year-old man Thursday in connection with a string of criminal property damage incidents.
The incidents involved damage to two picnic tables at Waimea Ball Park on Sept. 7, a business vehicle in Kamuela on Sept. 17 and an automated teller machine in Kamuela on Oct. 5. Total damage was estimated at more than $4,400.
Lindsey King Rego, who does not have a permanent address, was charged with second-degree criminal property damage and two counts of third-degree criminal property damage. He also was charged with an ammunition-related offense after police found an unspent round in his possession during his arrest. His bail was set at $16,000.
