INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use the ruler to measure 1-1/2 inches from one end of the tube. Flatten the tube and draw a line at this mark. Then cut off the short piece of the tube. Unflatten tube.
2. Wrap the 1-1/2-by-6-inch piece of light brown cardstock around the outside of the tube. Secure with glue or double-stick tape.
3. Use a 2-inch paper punch or cut out 2 circles from light brown cardstock. Cut one circle in half to make wings and set aside.
4. Glue eyes on the remaining circle. Cut a tiny triangle from the orange cardstock to make a beak and glue below the eyes. Cut out an S shape from red cardstock for the turkey’s wattle and tuck under the right side of the beak and glue in place.
5. Glue the head onto the front of the ring about halfway up. Glue a wing on either side of the body.
6. Cut remaining orange, yellow and red strips of cardstock into feathers by rounding the sides and making a point at the top.
7. Assemble the feathers into a fan shape and glue together.
8. Glue the fan, to the outside back of the tube about 1/4-inch down.
9. Roll up your napkin and place inside of the tube to use as a napkin ring.
10. To create a placecard holder, cut a 1/2-inch slit on either side of the tube. Write a name on cardstock and place into slits.
