Pair sign with Hawaii men’s golf team

University of Hawaii men’s golf coach Ronn Miyashiro on Wednesday announced the signing of two players for next season.

Matt Lloyd is a transfer from Purdue, where he competed in two tournaments this fall. The San Jose, Calif., native won the California state high school championship as a senior at Archbishop Mitty.

Kotaro Murata, of Matsuyama, Japan, spent the past three years at Heritage Academy in Hilton Head, S.C. He is ranked No. 219 in the latest Rolex AJGA rankings.
