KAILUA-KONA >> A 15-year-old male student at Kealakehe High School was arrested for harassment Friday after allegedly making a comment about bombs during a confrontation with other students, according to Big Island police.
Kona patrol officers were called to the campus around 9 a.m. for a report of a possible weapons incident that resulted in a school lockdown. A check was conducted, and no one was found in possession of any weapons, police said.
Further investigation led police to the teen suspect.
