South Korean film “Burning,” directed by Lee Chang-dong, has made the shortlist for the 91st Academy Awards for the best foreign-language film category. This is the first time a South Korean film has made the shortlist of 9, from 87 films. The final five nominees will be announced on Jan. 22 with the awards ceremony on Feb. 24. “Burning” stars actor Yoo Ah-in, Steven Yuen and Jeon Jong-seo. The mystery drama was based on the short story “Barn Burning” by Haruki Murakami.

During an interview, Soo-Hyun becomes uncomfortable and storms out when asked questions about her marriage to In-Joon. Tae-Oh and He-Ra meet with In-Joon and Soo-Hyun, to discuss their relationships to one another. Soo-Hyun and In-Joon go shopping together for a wedding dress.

“Review Notebook of My Embarrassing Moments” (KBS special)

Do Do-Hye is a math teacher and has a personality that is, at times, too honest. This causes her many embarrassing moments, which she writes down and reflects upon. She meets two men with whom she had embarrassing moments in the past.

“The Love of a Buzz Cut” (KBS special)

One year ago, Yu Ji-yul had surgery for a brain tumor, but unfortunately it has returned. Although she has a bright personality, she can’t fight her depression about her current situation. Ji-yul has feelings for Bae Chi-hwan. He works as a hairdresser’s assistant during the day and seduces women for money at night. Ji-yul decides to have her last romantic relationship with Chi-hwan before she dies.

A secret between Wang-shik and Sunny occurs at the Han Bridge. Wang-shik must restrain himself, as his adoration for Sunny deepens. Sunny’s retaliation against Yu-ra begins as Lee Hyuk’s disdain for Sunny grows.

Lee Hyuk begins to show his true colors. Sunny’s driven to the edge of a cliff as she starts digging for secrets of the royal family.

Hye-soo’s condition turns for the worse. Her doctor tells Ji-hoon there’s nothing more they can do. Hye-soo makes Ji-hoon promise that he’ll return to his old self when she’s gone. Mi-ran tells Ji-hoon she empathizes with him, but she can’t support him.

Episode 16 (Finale)

7:45 p.m Saturday

Ji-hoon gets ready to propose to Hye-soo. Ji-hoon is notified by Hye-soo’s doctor that her condition has taken a risky turn. Eun-sung and Ji-hoon do their best to make sure Hye-soo doesn’t feel pain.
