Fireworks likely to draw more than 100K

    Tommy Likos of Grucci Fireworks stood amid some of the rocket-launching devices on the deck of the Huki Pau on Sunday at Honolulu Harbor. Sponsored by the members of the Waikiki Improvement Association, the Fireworks by Grucci New Year’s fireworks show will start at 11:55 tonight. From a barge just off Waikiki Beach, an announcement salute will be fired off every minute until one minute before midnight.

More than 100,000 residents and visitors are expected to view the annual Fireworks by Grucci display that will begin at 11:55 p.m. tonight from a barge in waters off Waikiki Beach. Read more
