Maui Brewing Co. opened its second Oahu restaurant Saturday at the Lau Hala Shops, a new retail center in Kailua at the former Macy’s building.
The open-air, 6,500-square-foot restaurant features indoor and outdoor dining and over 20 craft beers on tap.
ON THE MOVE
The Queen’s Medical Center has named three new directors:
>> Gregory Payne is the newest director of the Emergency Department, Clinical Decision Unit, Bed Control, Discharge Lounge, Transfer Call Center and Patient Flow. He previously was manager of the Emergency Department/CDU, overseeing the management team for both departments. Payne also served as an operations manager and registered nurse at Queen’s since 2008.
>> Jill Slade has been named the newest director of Trauma Services. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Trauma Program, Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Trauma Med/Surg/Tele Unit. Slade previously was interim Trauma Program manager of Trauma Services as well as a registered nurse and nurse manager and has been with Queen’s since 1992.
>> Alexandra Wroe is the newest director of Care Coordination, Utilization Management and Clinical Documentation Integrity. She previously was manager of Case Management and Utilization Management Services. Prior to joining Queen’s, Wroe was manager of Care Coordination at Community Care Access Center in Ottawa.
