Tyler Van Stone pitched seven solid innings as the Hawaii Pacific baseball team routed Academy of Art 11-3 on Sunday at Hans L’Orange Park.
Van Stone allowed one run on five hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Christian Kapeliela, Jordan Mopas and Jalen Bustos each drove in two runs for the Sharks (19-14, 6-11 PacWest).
The Urban Knights fell to 11-10, 3-7.
Grant to speak at Honolulu QB Club
Maryknoll boys basketball coach Kelly Grant will be the featured speaker at today’s Honolulu Quarterback Club meeting at the Maple Garden Restaurant.
Grant, a 1984 Maryknoll graduate, led the Spartans to the HHSAA Division I title last month.
