Police on Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the 2017 robbery of a massage parlor in the Keeaumoku area.
Donald S. Mauga was arrested on a $75,000 grand jury bench warrant. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday in Circuit Court, and his bail was set at $75,000.
Police said two male suspects posing as customers entered Pine Tree on Keeaumoku Street shortly before 2:40 a.m. Nov. 9, 2017.
One of the males, later identified as Mauga, allegedly brandished a handgun at an employee and demanded money.
Police said the employee handed over money to him and that the two men fled. A surveillance camera captured the robbery.
In December 2017 an Oahu grand jury indicted Mauga on charges of first-degree robbery and issued the bench warrant for his arrest. Mauga has a criminal record of auto theft and driving without a license.
