Former Punahou athlete Taylor Crabb teamed with 33-time champion Jake Gibb to win the AVP Huntington Beach Open on Sunday.
Crabb had to take down his older brother, Trevor Crabb, who competed with fellow Hawaii native Tri Bourne, in the semifinals. Crabb-Gibb won that match in three sets, 21-14, 18-21, 15-11.
In the final, Crabb and Gibb defeated Casey Patterson and Chase Budinger in two sets to win the championship, 27-25, 25-14.
