Argo was the first yacht to complete the Transpacific Yacht Race, crossing the finish line off Diamond Head on Wednesday at 8:52 p.m.
Argo was skippered by Jason Carroll. Peter Cunningham’s PowerPlay finished the race 29 minutes later and Giovanni Soldini’s Maserati crossed early Thursday.
The race, which started in Los Angeles on July 10, covers 2,225 nautical miles.
Due to a staggered start, the first boat to finish isn’t necessarily considered the race winner.
