The Department of Facility Maintenance will close Olohana Street from Kuhio to Kalakaua avenues from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to perform road repairs.

Weather and conditions permitting, the work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, the department said.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible and use alternate routes. Traffic will be temporarily detoured around Olohana Street during construction work hours, with buses detoured to Kalaimoku Street where two-way traffic will be implemented.
