>> Noguchi & Associates has named Mitchell Noguchi as president, replacing Pamela Kirk, who will be appointed as vice-chairwoman alongside former president and vice-chairman Richard Nakayama and vice president Velma Tsuda. Noguchi, who is the son of founder Hideo Noguchi, joined the company more than 15 years ago as a file clerk and receptionist and underwent training and internships within the insurance industry; including time at the Pasadena and New York City branches of Tokio Marine, Island Insurance and management training from 2016 under Pamela Kirk.

>> Ocean Blue Hawaii has hired Michael Libertini as chief operating officer, previously vice president and market manager for Bank of Hawaii, where he originally joined the bank in 2011 and oversaw the relocation of its Ward Plaza branch to Hokua tower.
