Ferd Lewis: Rams-Cowboys preseason game could become Aloha Stadium’s biggest money maker

    The Rams logo was painted at midfield of Aloha Stadium in preparation for Saturday’s sold-out NFL preseason game against the Cowboys.

    Two new panels have been added to the Jumbotron at Aloha Stadium. The $750,000 LED display Daktronics video board will debut during Saturday’s Rams-Cowboys game. The 20.5-feet high x 75.5-feet wide board in the stadium’s north end was funded by IMG, the facility’s new advertising rights holder.

When Hawaii Tourism Authority and Aloha Stadium officials signed their contracts for the Los Angeles Rams to play at the facility they were jubilant. Read more
