Final work being done to reopen Arizona Memorial, raising visitors’ hopes

    For the second week in a row, U.S. Navy personnel were on the USS Arizona Memorial to conduct another volunteer clean-up as the reopening of the Memorial draws ever closer.

    The National Park Service posted a video this week of the reinstallation of a 30-foot bridge to the USS Arizona Memorial. And on Thursday the zigzag visitor ramp was put back on the floating concrete dock. Video is available at staradvertiser.com.
