The Knights earned their first win of the season behind Chazz Tom’s team-high two rushing touchdowns in a home victory over Na Alii on Saturday.
Tom carried the ball 15 times for 33 yards. Aiea’s Javon Miller ran the ball 20 times for a game-high 132 yards with two touchdowns on 20 carries.
Miller’s 36-yard rushing score gave Aiea (1-3) a 16-12 lead with 1:41 left in the third quarter, but it was Na Alii’s final score of the game.
The Knights (1-2) scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, capped by Kala Matthews’ 14-yard touchdown reception from Kila Kaio with 4:56 left that put the game out of reach. Kaio threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns, both game highs.
