Chaminade women’s volleyball player Lataisia Saulala was named the Pacific West Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
The 6-foot-2 sophomore middle blocker from Morgan Hill, Calif., recorded 34 kills and 10 blocks to lead Chaminade to four wins last week in the Hawaii Challenge.
Also on Monday, Chaminade (4-0) received 42 points in the AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Swords head to Pomona, Calif., this week to take part in the annual D2 West Region Volleyball Showcase.
