Hawaii Tourism Authority marketing now includes teaching tourists to be responsible

                                The Hawaii Tourism Authority is adding “responsible tourism” to its traditional branding of promoting Hawaii as a world-class destination.                                 The growing perception of over-tourism in areas across the state has left some residents and community leaders asking how much tourism is too much and seeking ways to strike a balance in the industry that drives the state’s economy. Visitors stopped Tuesday to get photos of the Duke Kahanamoku statue on Waikiki Beach.
