State health officials are asking Hawaii residents to get vaccinated for measles after the outbreak of the contagious disease around parts of the world, including Western Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines. A child was vaccinated Nov. 18 at a health clinic in Apia, Samoa.
