>> Carlsmith Ball LLP has hired Erika Gustin as an associate in the Honolulu firm’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group. Gustin was a summer associate with the firm and a graduate of University of Notre Dame Law School in Indiana. As a student, she served as a judicial extern to the Judge Michael Wilson of the Hawaii Supreme Court.
>> Hawaii Nature Center has named Todd Cullison executive director, overseeing the nonprofit’s programs on Oahu and Maui. Cullison has more than 20 years’ experience in environmental education with more than 10 years in nonprofit leadership, which includes serving as associate director of development for the University of Hawaii Cancer Center for three years.
>> Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative has named Francis A. Wong board chairman, replacing John Farias Jr., who is retiring after serving five years. Wong is also chairman of Genesis Hotel Development LLC and a hospitality consultant. His career experience includes being a partner of the Rice, Lee & Wong law firm and a state senator for 12 years.
