    The Solar Impulse 2 was stored for nine months at no cost in University of Hawaii’s Hangar 111 at Kalaeloa Airport while making its around-the-world trip.

The University of Hawaii plans to pay the U.S Department of Education $11.2 million to escape a requirement that it use Hangar 111 at Kalaeloa Airport for educational purposes only. Read more
