16 Hawaii lifeguards honored for saving lives

                                Lifeguards risked their lives in December to rescue a woman, 21, and man, 19, who were swept into the water at Kaena State Beach Park’s Moi Hole. The woman was found unconscious and kept alive by CPR but died two days later in the hospital. The man’s body was recovered in a cave the day after the woman was rescued.
