Michael T. Hirokawa, 31, pleaded not guilty Thursday at his arraignment in Circuit Court. An Oahu grand jury recently indicted him on charges of second-degree attempted murder, kidnapping and three counts of first-degree sexual assault, which has left a woman hospitalized since Nov. 21. Hirokawa is pictured seated as his attorney Alen Kaneshiro spoke to Judge Paul B.K. Wong about bail. Hirokawa remains released on a $500,000 bond but was ordered by Wong to wear a GPS tracking device while under house arrest at his mother’s home.
