On the Move: Dennis Elms, Nicholas Ernst and Makana Reilly

>> Maui Ku‘ia Estate Chocolate Inc. has announced the promotion of Dennis Elms from technology director to factory and technology director. Prior to joining MKEC, Elms was the IT specialist at Montage Kapalua Bay, providing overall tech support for the hotel’s associates and guests. He also managed IT staff at Honua Kai Resort &Spa.

>> Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, a full-service Honolulu law firm, has hired Nicholas Ernst as an associate in the firm’s Litigation, Appellate and Mediation practice groups. Ernst has more than a decade of experience in education and a passion for public speaking and debate. He earned his law degree from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law, where he studied in the evening part-time program for students working full time.

>> Hawaiian Islands Land Trust has announced the promotion of Makana Reilly to director of ‘Aina Connection. Reilly started at HILT in August 2019 as the office manager and executive assistant to the CEO. HILT is a nonprofit organization that protects and stewards the lands that sustain Hawaii.
