The Queen’s Health Systems has announced the promotion of three employees to director roles:
>> Mary Bedell is the director of vaccination clinics at The Queen’s Medical Center. Bedell previously served as an advanced practice registered nurse and clinical nurse specialist in the acute care surgical units.
>> Laura Kau‘ionalani Nishizaki is the director of Native Hawaiian health at The Queen’s Health Systems. Nishizaki previously served as manager for the Native Hawaiian Health Department.
>> Warren Yamamoto is the director of administrative services for The Queen’s Medical Group. Yamamoto has served as contract liaison, contract specialist, manager of physician contracts and compensation, and manager of medical staff services.
Bank of Hawaii has announced the hiring of Kyle Sakamoto as senior vice president and senior primary relationship officer at its Maui Commercial Banking Center. Sakamoto previously held several positions at Central Pacific Bank, including senior vice president and Maui district manager, senior manager of neighbor island commercial banking and senior commercial banking officer. From 1993-2001, he served at BOH as assistant vice president and commercial banking officer.
