Samuel Kai‘ali‘ili‘i Kamaka Jr., patriarch of Kamaka Ukulele Inc. for more than a half-century, died March 15 at his Honolulu residence. Born June 18, 1922, he was three months away from what would have been his 100th birthday. Read more
