Well, at least this is one category that hasn’t been hit by inflation — yet. The University of Hawaii is proposing to freezing undergraduate tuition for the next two academic years, when household budgets are being eaten alive by price hikes anyway. Then resident rates would rise by 2% for each of 2025-26 and 2026-27, with nonresident tuitions climbing by the same dollar amount.
