                                Lahainaluna co-head coach Dean Rickard led the Lunas to a 30-7 victory over Konawaena in the HHSAA Division I state semifinals on Dec. 17, 2021, at Farrington’s Skippa Diaz Stadium. The four-time defending D-II champion Lunas played for the Division I crown in 2021 but lost to ‘Iolani.
