It includes a mummy “candy bar” (a twist on pastry chef Michelle Karr-Ueoka’s favorite candy bar, Whatchamacallit), bat “Oreos,” Halloween macarons (pumpkin pie and chocolate buttercream), macadamia nut sticky bun-pumpkin cheesecake with housemade cinnamon graham crackers and tropical fruit candy corn cake (lilikoi, guava, coconut, white chocolate crunch).

Asato Family Shop
Asato Family Shop’s (1306 Pali Hwy.) peanut butter and chocolate flavor is only here for October. This frozen treat features the iconic chocolate and creamy peanut butter blend.
On Oct. 29, the biz will be doing a Willy Wonka theme with its Asato Bar (signature chocolate flavor with a blend of milk chocolate and dark cocoa powder). They’re giving away five golden tickets, good for one year of free sherbet. Plus, the first person to find a golden ticket will win a kitchen “factory tour” and get to create their own dream flavor with the biz.
Also on Oct. 29, Asato Family will have Snozzberry and Fizzy Lifting drinks available by the pint and mini Asato Chocolate Bars with mini golden tickets valid for discounts and prizes.

BASALT
BASALT’s (2255 Kuhio Ave.) Spooktacular Halloween pancakes are only available from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 29. The eatery’s signature charcoal buttermilk pancakes are topped with a lilikoi sabayon, a charcoal shortbread cookie cat, a meringue ghost, sugar bats, ash whipped cream and assorted candies.
Halloween pancakes are available while supplies last. Keiki are encouraged to come dressed in costumes.

Choco Lea
Choco Lea (2909 Lowrey Ave.) has a variety of seasonal treats for Halloween. Enjoy goodies like dark-chocolate-covered pretzels, peanut butter-cinnamon haystacks, ube monster bars, a trick-or-treat bundle, and a four-piece chocolate candy truffle box.
The latter features truffles in Snickers, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Twix and 3 Musketeers flavors.

Chunky Cookies
Chunky Cookies’ (55-370 Kamehameha Hwy.) Halloween pack is perfect for spooky season. It includes the Chunky OG with semisweet and milk chocolate chips and flaky sea salt; Chunky M&M (OG cookie mixed and topped with M&Ms and flaky sea salt), Chunky Monster (Oreo cookie stuffed with a mini OG cookie then topped with Oreos and Hershey’s Cookies ‘N Cream candy) and Chunky Vecna. The latter is an indulgent double-chocolate cookie topped with chocolate raspberry ganache, a marshmallow “spider web” and a sprinkle of freeze-dried raspberries.

It features Cookie Monster gelato — freshly baked brown butter chocolate chip cookies sprinkled through a blue, Cookie Monster Fior di Latte gelato — and Frankenstein-inspired toppings (green Chantilly whipped cream, warm caramel, chocolate cookie crumbles).

The Halloween assortment is available for pre-orders only and the cupcakes won’t be sold separately; preorders are accepted through Oct. 31. Delivery orders are now accepted through the business’s website or mobile app (orders will be delivered by a third party driver).
