Regarding the Pali Highway townbound closure: Why didn’t the state Department of Transportation do a 100-yard-or-more detour using one Kailua-bound lane instead of inconveniencing so many Windward residents and clogging the out-of-the-way routes?
Also, we counted eight workers supervising one bulldozer — and it took drivers how many other routes for days?
