The “Tech View” column on Wednesdays is a gem. Far from computer tech-ese, they contextualize local-to- international culture and local business (such as bee-raising, recently) with wit and wisdom. Last week’s article on the East-West Center’s influence on the “far-flung Pacific nation” of Timor is another example of this excellent feature (“Timorese interns at EWC receive and impart lessons,” Star-Advertiser, June 26).
