I have seen what drones can do and it is simply amazing. Perhaps a mainland company would be interested if they are contacted by our government or even an organization that would collect donations from private citizens. The state could also use the money from fines collected through illegal fireworks enforcement to set up an ongoing drone show fund.
Here are the basic costs of professional drone light shows:
>> Small shows (under 200 drones) are between $15,000 and $40,000 for simple logos or designs, with 200 drones potentially costing more.
>> Medium to large shows (300-plus drones) often range from $100,000 to more than $200,000 for dynamic, 3D animations and complex storytelling.
Key cost factors include number of drones, complexity, customization, location and duration.
This is still cheaper than the $35,000-per-drone system the Department of Law Enforcement is using to track illegal fireworks.
