How could Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump and others in the administration have been so shortsighted as to put our country’s security at risk by previously eliminating the flu vaccine mandate for our troops? The flu and other contagious diseases can spread so rapidly and incapacitate so many that it is conceivable that our military units may not be able to function adequately when the need arises.
Our enemies could obviously use that weakness in our preparation to their advantage by simply introducing the virus into the most vulnerable military units.
