I recommend that for articles about local shootings, registration and/or concealed carry information should be added. At present, we readers know that a gun has been used for a crime, but we don’t know if that gun had been registered, or if the shooter had a concealed carry license. This is important information for voters who are constantly being asked to further restrict gun ownership, hoping that such measures will reduce gun crime.
Criminals don’t register their guns and don’t ask for a concealed carry license; only honest folks are so burdened.
