Open house held for new Honu Hub wastewater technology to clean water

The Department of Environmental Services, in partnership with WAI Wastewater Alternatives and Innovations, presented a live demonstration of the “Honu Hub,” a compact wastewater treatment system now being tested for its ability to maintain power and connectivity during emergencies and offer thousands of homes on cesspools an affordable alternative.
