The serious blood shortage, currently being reported, is frightful, and I write this in the hope that I may encourage a donation or two to our Blood Bank, which might otherwise not be made.

I’m the oldest person I know and have donated a pint every eight weeks for many years. I’m convinced that this regular oil change — oops, I mean this regular blood change — has had much to do with making me run better.
