Artists stage fundraiser
More than a dozen artists will be drawing "live" and selling their artwork for $20 a pop from 6 to 7:45 p.m. today at Kumu Kahua Theatre, 46 Merchant St. The "Draw the Line" fundraiser will take place before the 8 p.m. performance of Lee Tonouchi’s "Da Kine Space." The theater recently announced it may not survive the current season due to funding cuts. Participating artists include Jamie Allen, Solomon Enos, Audra Furuichi, Ryan Higa, Andy Lee and Corrine Kamiya.
