putting on the ritz: A groundbreaking Thursday marked the beginning of construction on the $180 million, 38-story Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach tower. The luxury condominium-hotel project will include 309 units priced from $650,000 to $15 million, a Dean & DeLuca luxury food market and restaurants BLT Market and Sushi Sho. Construction is expected to be done in early 2016. Mayor Kirk Caldwell, wearing yellow, joined project development and construction representatives for the ceremony, which featured traditional oo digging sticks.
