Bank robber sought
Police are looking for a man in his 60s with a white goatee who robbed the Waipahu branch of Bank of Hawaii on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the man entered the bank at 94-715 Farrington Highway at 12:10 p.m. He approached a teller, demanded money and fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
The suspect is described as between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 140 to 160 pounds, with white hair and a white goatee. He was wearing a white shirt, a black-and-white patterned cap, and was carrying a black backpack.
