Hawaiian Airlines faces a civil fine for operating a Boeing 767 similar to the one above without properly inspecting certain components that could cause a rapid decompression of the aircraft.

Hawaiian Airlines has added more flights between Los Angeles and Maui and Oahu from November to January.
The airline currently operates daily year-round service between Los Angeles and Kahului. Beginning Nov. 20 a second flight will be added that will range from four times weekly to daily over seven weeks of service, adding more than 20,000 seats to the Los Angeles and Maui markets.
As for Hawaiian’s Honolulu-Los Angeles service, the company currently offers three flights daily. Starting Dec. 5 a fourth flight will be added that will operate three to five times a week throughout December. More than 8,400 seats will be added to both the Los Angeles and Oahu travel markets over the four weeks of service.
