Polynesian author Johnny Frisbie, seated, celebrated the publication of the updated and expanded second edition of her childhood autobiography, “Miss Ulysses From Puka-Puka,” Thursday with an early-evening book-signing party at Na Mea Hawai‘i in Ward Warehouse. Frisbie’s daughter, Haumea Ho, standing left, welcomed Lezlee Ka‘aihue and Henry Kapono Ka‘aihue to the party. So many friends and well-wishers came to the book-signing that Na Mea sold every copy in stock.
