A 17-year-old boy was arrested after he allegedly threatened a teacher at a Kalihi school Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at 11:55 a.m. on campus grounds. Police did not name the school involved.
The suspect was released pending further investigation after being arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
Suspect in taxicab robbery is arrested
A 18-year-old Palolo man was arrested Tuesday after he was identified as a suspect in a taxicab robbery in July, police said.
Three males robbed the taxi driver, a 27-year-old man, at about 3 a.m. July 20 in Kaimuki, police said.
The driver told police one male choked him while a second male brandished a weapon and assaulted him. A third male searched the cab and took the driver’s property, police said.
The Palolo man was later identified and arrested near his home on Ahe Street at about 10:45 a.m. He was booked for investigation of first-degree robbery.
Hawaii Kai man faces assault, drug charges
A 27-year-old man was charged Monday with assaulting two police officers and possessing illegal drugs in McCully, police said.
Tavin Winward of Hawaii Kai was charged with first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and a drug offense. His bail was set at $22,000.
Police said Winward assaulted and hurt the officers on Wiliwili Street at about 7 p.m. Saturday. While investigating, officers discovered a firearm inside his vehicle and arrested Winward for investigation of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Police said illegal drugs were also discovered in Winward’s possession.
Man arrested in protective order violation
A 46-year-old man has been charged with numerous violations of a protective order after he entered a woman’s home in Hawaii Kai, police said.
Lord Cabana of Wahiawa was charged with eight counts of violating a protective order. His bail was set at $16,000.
Cabana entered the victim’s home at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday, violating a protective order the 57-year-old woman had against him, police said.
Patrol units found him inside the home and arrested him on Hakalau Place.
