The musical comedy by Lisa Matsumoto and Roslyn Catracchia follows the fun, crazy adventure of Princess Alexis, who journeys to a faraway kingdom, meeting outrageous characters and the prince of her dreams, Prince Yoshi.

Melani Carrié, the actress who plays Princess Alexis, said there are many things she loves about the production, including the comedic actors who help bring Matsumoto’s characters to life, as well as the show’s positive messages.
“As someone of mixed race, I think one of the greatest things about this story is that it shows how love, friendship, family and understanding transcends cultural boundaries,” said Carrié, who is Japanese and French. “As long as we are open to learning more about others and able to communicate honestly, anything can happen.”
Reminiscent of a Disney movie, the show will resonate with children and adults alike, she added.
“You will be rooting for the characters as you watch their journeys unfold and humming the show tunes well after the curtains have closed,” Carrié said.
