HONOLULU – Sponsored by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Star Events is pleased to present the Hawaii Career Expo on Wednesday, January 31st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This series of job fairs allows employers and job seekers to connect in today’s rapidly changing career market.

Now more than ever, there is a critical need to provide innovative and alternative ways for companies and potential employees to connect. These free events allow job seekers to visit with many of Hawaii’s best employers, all looking for qualified hires in a competitive recruitment marketplace. Job seekers will be able to learn about available jobs and initiate one-on-one conversations with company recruiters on-the-spot while distributing resumes. They will meet with top employers from the City & County of Honolulu, State of Hawaii, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Maui Medical Center and many other companies.

“Each year, thousands of people participate in our career expos to connect with hundreds of recruiters and HR managers throughout the state,” said Denise Ching, Director at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. “This month, we are excited to feature opportunities in a wide variety of job categories including law enforcement, construction, nursing, foodservice, tourism & hospitality, financial institutions, emergency services, retail, technology, transportation and so much more.”

With over 100 booths to visit, the Hawaii Career Expo attracts many of Hawaii’s most qualified and successful applicants and has helped these employers connect with talented candidates seeking employment in a variety of fields.

The Expo is on Wednesday, January 31st from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Attendees may present a printed copy of their resume at the front door for free admission.
