Protests turn violent outside Trump rally in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. >> Protests outside a Donald Trump rally in New Mexico turned violent Tuesday night as demonstrators threw burning T-shirts, plastic bottles and other items at police officers, overturned trash cans and knocked down barricades.
Police responded by firing pepper spray and smoke grenades into the crowd outside the Albuquerque Convention Center.
During the rally, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee was interrupted repeatedly by protesters, who shouted, held up banners and resisted removal by security officers.
The banners included the messages “Trump is Fascist” and “We’ve heard enough.”
At one point, a female protester was physically dragged from the stands by security. Other protesters scuffled with security as they resisted removal from the convention center, which was packed with thousands of loud and cheering Trump supporters.
Trump responded with his usual bluster, instructing security to remove the protesters and mocking their actions by telling them to “Go home to mommy.”
He responded to one demonstrator by asking, “How old is this kid?” Then he provided his own answer: “Still wearing diapers.”
Trump’s supporters responded with chants of “Build that wall!”
The altercations left a glass door at the entrance of the convention center smashed. During the rally, protesters outside overran barricades and clashed with police in riot gear. They also burned T-shirts and other items labeled with Trump’s catchphrase, “Make America Great Again.”
Tuesday marked Trump’s first stop in New Mexico, the nation’s most Hispanic state. Gov. Susana Martinez, head of the Republican Governors Association and the nation’s only Latina governor, has harshly criticized his remarks on immigrants and has attacked his proposal to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. The governor did not attend the rally and has yet to make an endorsement.
Trump said the number of people on welfare in New Mexico has tripled and said Martinez needs to do a better job.

I am waiting for liberals and the liberal news media to say the rioting was caused by Trump and his supporters.

People who voted for Trump or are thinking of voting for him are those who are helpless in helping themselves with a good living and are struggling in todays world. I feel for all of you … life isn’t fair … and you want to be heard but don’t know how to go about it. So to have someone like Trump, bring anger to everyone else who is doing fine or knows how to cope with todays trials and tribulations … your idea is bring everyone down if you can’t he happy about life! We understand your mentality and hate and anger now. You chose to take the path of a “murder / suicide” person! You need a reality check. The people who voted for Trump and are thinking of voting for him are predominantly hard working Americans who are fed up with having to carry the burden of half the population that does not work and is instead living on government handouts and demanding more, from liberals, of course. They are people who understand and believe in the principles upon which or nation was founded and are fed up with liberals who are trying to destroy them. They are people who believe in the Constitution of the United States and expect it to be followed by our leaders instead of being trashed or ignored to impose a radical liberal agenda upon us. It is people like you who need professional help, and thanks to liberal politicians, you can get it at government expense.

If that’s what you’re mad about, then maybe it’s Trump supporters who need the reality check. Show the statistics demonstrating that half the population is supporting the other half “that does not work.” This is just a flat-out lie.
Trump supporters are winning the battle in spite of all the media and establishment attacks. “Make America Great Again” The libs have it all backwards and it just isn’t working. Their free stuff will be no more. Get a job as the economy is great according to Obama.

SA Left out the fact that most of the rioters were illegal Mexicans whom were also waiving their Mexican Flags all over TV. Nothing to see here but a bunch of criminals rioting and demanding we grant them amnesty as they refuse to abide by any laws of our nation. Frankly, the military should be brought in and give them a “Tiananmen Square” welcome since these violent criminals have no moral values and would kill innocent by-standards out in public that oppose their LaRaza (Mexican KKK equivalent) movement.
