Maui’s Kendall Grove weighed in at 185.6 pounds for his middleweight fight against Alexander Shlemenko that headlines Bellator 162 tonight in Memphis, Tenn.

The main card will be shown on a tape delay in Hawaii on Spike at 6 p.m.

Grove (23-15), who won season 3 of The Ultimate Fighter to earn a UFC contract, is 4-2 since joining Bellator. He has won his last two fights by TKO.

Shlemenko (53-9), a former Bellator world middleweight champion, has one no contest and two losses in his last three fights in the organization, including a submission loss to Tito Ortiz.

Former WWE wrestler Bobby Lashley (14-2) will fight Josh Appelt (12-5) in a heavyweight co-feature bout.

McRae, Bailey score in Seasiders’ victory

Jacob McRae scored at 28:05 and Braden Bailey added a goal at 74:24 in the Brigham Young-Hawaii men’s soccer team’s 2-0 win over Hawaii Hilo on Thursday at BYUH field.

Dwayne Wittmann made five saves, including one on a penalty kick, for the Seasiders (5-5-2, 4-4-1 PacWest).

The Vulcans dropped to 1-11-1, 0-8-1.

BYU-Hawaii women topple Hawaii Hilo

Kristine Reynolds Behrens scored at 32:03 and Sydney Eddy added a goal at 52:52 as the Brigham Young-Hawaii women’s soccer team beat Hawaii Hilo 2-1 on Thursday at BYUH field.

The Seasiders improved to 5-6-2, 4-4-1 PacWest.

Abcde Zoller scored at 58:10 for the Vulcans (2-6-4, 0-5-4).

Hawaii Pacific beats Dominican in 5 sets

Pomai Recca had 24 kills and Alison McCollum added 16 as the Hawaii Pacific volleyball team beat Dominican (Calif.) 25-17, 17-25, 28-26, 22-25, 15-8 on Thursday at St. Andrew’s Priory gym.

Mahea Pescaia recorded 35 assists for the Sharks (12-7, 8-2 PacWest).

Aimee Steinwand and Madeline Powelson each had 13 kills for the Penguins (13-7, 9-3).

>> Marley Strand-Nicolaisen finished with 27 kills and Sienna Davis had 51 assists, but Hawaii Hilo lost to Notre Dame de Namur 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 15-13 at Hilo’s gym.

Bianca Alvarez had 27 kills and Margaret Billingsley recorded 59 assists for the Argonauts (6-14, 4-8 PacWest).

The Vulcans fell to 7-9, 5-6.
