Happy New Year! KBFD is celebrating the new year with special programming.
If you missed the “2016 SBS Award Festival in Entertainment” and the documentary “Investigating the Mind,” which aired overnight and into the early hours of New Year’s Day, be sure to catch “The Ocean in a Meal” at 6 a.m. today. The show (with Engligh subtitles) follows a group of chefs traveling through coastal towns eating the ocean’s harvest, making it a must-watch for foodies.
At 8 a.m. today, K-pop is at its best on “Busan One Asia Festival.”
From 10 a.m. to noon, the station will air a special edition of “Descendants of the Sun.” The entire series will be summed up in the two-hour show (with English subtitles).

“Perfect Bride”
Episodes 17 and 18
>> Today, 6:30 p.m.: Da-hae gets unnerved by Jae-soon’s boldness. When warned not to contact her ex-husband, Da-hae starts harassing Jae-soon.
Gab-soon meets Gab-dol to put their relationship behind them so she can move forward with Ha-soo.
>> Today, 7:45 p.m.: Geum-shik finds out Da-hae called out Jae-soon and goes to meet Da-hae himself. Geum-shik is met by an infuriated Da-hae.
Gab-soon is enraged at Gab-dol for answering Ha-soo’s call.
“Dr. Romantic”

>> Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Chief Doh informs Chairman Shin that Chief Yeo and Teacher Kim let Seo-jung’s PTSD condition slide. Teacher Kim tries to stop Chairman Shin’s surgery.
Seo-jung disappears after she leaves her resignation letter, and Dong-joo searches for her.
>> Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Dong-joo and Seo-jung witness a gruesome six-car collision. They tend to the injured with the emergency team.Chief Doh asks Dong-joo to be on his side.
“Legend of the Blue Sea”
Episodes 9 and 10
>> Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Shim Chung stays and nurses Joon-jae. Joon-jae feels reassured that Chung is with him. Joon-jae finds out the blackmailer is a prison escapee named Ma Dae-young. His confusion is heightened when he discovers that he’s also approached Chung.
>> Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Joon-jae is bewildered and confused by the identity of Kim Dam-ryung, who sends messages through Joon-jae’s dreams.
Having received an invitation, Joon-jae and Nam-doo go to Jin-joo’s house with Shim Chung.
“Happy Home”
Episodes 18 and 19
>> Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Mi-soon gets suspicious of Man-ho’s behavior and follows him, and she sees him and Se-ri together.
Sam-bong drinks with Hyun-ki to celebrate his promotion. Sam-bong calls Hae-ryung to tell her, which makes Hae-ryung head home to announce her decision to divorce Hyun-ki.
>> Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Man-ho prepares a camping trip with the kids, and Mi-soon begs him to be a good dad, even just for a day.
Ji-gun brings a drunk Hyun-ki home, and Gyeong-ok blames Hae-ryung and Ji-gun for all that’s happened.
